How Build with Mikado works

A clear, four-stage path from your idea to a funding cheque. We’ve made every step public so you know exactly what you’re signing up for.

STAGE 01
You submit your startup through a short application and pay a ₹249 fee. This fee is not the price of funding - funding is a cheque to you, not something you buy. The ₹249 is a filter: it keeps the applicant pool serious and lets our team give every application a real review. If you’re selected for training, this ₹249 is adjusted against your training fee.

STAGE 03
Selected founders join a structured program built to make you genuinely fundable. You receive a physical business playbook delivered to your door, plus access to our online learning platform: 20 structured courses covering business foundations, finance and funding, sales and marketing, operations, scaling, and pitching - taught in simple Hinglish. This is real skill-building that stands on its own, funded or not.

Training - ₹8,499

STAGE 04
Trained founders pitch to our panel. The strongest startups receive funding - from ₹5 lakh to ₹1 crore - in exchange for equity based on valuation and stage. Funding is provided by Digital Mikado from its own capital and finalised in a separate, binding investment agreement.

STAGE 02
We review every application against published criteria - the strength of your idea, your clarity, and your commitment. Shortlisted founders are invited into the training cohort. If you’re not selected, you’ll be notified, and you’re welcome to apply again in the next chapter.

Selection

HONEST NOTE

Completing the training does not guarantee funding. Not everyone who trains will be funded. Any program that promises guaranteed funding to everyone is not being honest with you.
